While living in the tropical atmosphere of South America for over ten years, Gary became inspired by its multicolored richness of the flora and fauna. Combining his inspiration with Batik, a process of using dyes on fabric with a hot wax resist, he immersed himself in the fine arts .
Currently, Gary's focus turns to creating vibrant, textured abstracts.
Originally an advertising art director, he finds life as a self employed full time artist more satisfying. The causal, relaxed atmosphere allows the space and time for creativity to emerge.
Gary is represented by Art Galleies in Rockport, Texas and in Aransas Pass, Texas. His studio is located at the Chicken Farm Art Center in San Angelo, Texas.
